The world’s population has gone up today. The totality of existing humans on planet earth is estimated to be at 6.997 billion according to the United States Census Bureau. And another source, the United Nations, says that it already exceeded 7 billion in October 2011. Where all these great number of humans came? Where did they come from? Of course they come from the copulating men and women in the entire earth. And what’s their purpose for copulating? Just to procreate and then live until death? Aren’t there much deeper purpose and meaning for man’s existence? Certainly there is - the giver and author of life who is God and the prime mover of everything in the entire universe purposed human existence to be in the context of a family. There’s the father and the mother living in love and procreating, and teach their offspring to live a life of reverence to God, and everything flows from there. The family life involves raising their children well and providing them everything that they need. The family life involves having time together like going to church, dine in a favourite restaurant, and even go family shopping.

Everything in this world was started by somebody supreme and powerful, and that is God. The history of human race tells of how man attempted to understand the existence of God, but even before man could get all the answers to his questions, death claimed his life. Man’s existence is just that, to live a life in the context of a family. Man should not get out of this context of God’s purpose or else his life becomes chaotic. And when he strives to live in love which is the very important thing to make the family life stick together in harmony, he gets to see a harmonious family wherein each member loves each other – that is everyone strives to have a regular time for bonding that includes going family shopping together.

Like the domino effect, one must have initiated the very first move that created the chain reaction. That is so with everything in this world. Everything that moves has a prime mover and that is God. Observe it closely; what brings harmony for humans is love. The world has gone berserk many times in history when some people deviate from that original context of human existence – the family that is living in loving relationship. Human existence was authored by God to be in harmony and order. And that is to be in the context of a family. A man takes a woman in marriage that is in a committed relationship. Together they will live in love and procreate and teach their offspring the same message of love. When this original context of the family is violated, the world gets into a chaotic condition because the original purpose of creation itself is deliberately violated. The concept of a family must be strictly followed so that harmony and order reigns in it. As we observe a harmonious family, we see that everything in it is intact. We see the father loving his wife and children that he works hard to earn a living to feed his family. He stays faithful to his wife and avoids playing around with other women or doing foolishness. The wife is also faithful to her husband as she lives a life that is truly in serious respect for what a family should be. They spend time together to maintain that bond of love which includes among many other activities, family shopping together.
