The Message of Peace "Queen of Peace," may be the title with which the Blessed Mother located the visionaries in Medjugorje on June 25, 1981. "PEACE, PEACE, PEACE!" Reconcile with each other. If the world wants to be saved, it has to seek the way of peace; now it is going in the way of perdition." Peace may be the first and most important message of Our Lady. Conversion, Prayer, and Fasting will take us to Peace the first fruit of Christ the Messiah. Around the 6th of August 1981 once the clock was marking 6:15 within the afternoon, there appeared on the horizon the Slavic word "MIR" in great shining letters, this means PEACE. All those who were present in the area and neighboring town saw this phenomena that lasted about a quarter-hour. At the beginning of 1984 Our Lady repeated: "Peace is crisis; be brothers among yourselves once again; convert; increase your prayers plus your fasting; the world will not be able to save itself without peace; however, the planet will find its peace when it returns to God." In their own message to the Holy Father, Our Lady returns on the message of Peace: "I have come to Medjugorje to bring the word 'PEACE' and I want the Holy Father to consider it to all the world." We should first seek the PEACE individuals souls, that we may be able to communicate it to all others. "Put the PEACE of God inside your hearts is Our Lady's recommendation; live it yourselves first, then spread it around." The material of Conversion Another word Our Lady repeats frequently is: Conversion. "Tell all my sons and daughters, tell all the world, and as soon since you can, that I wish for their conversion. I shall pray that God may well not put you to the test. You may not know, you can not know or imagine what God is getting ready to send upon the world unless you convert!" At the beginning of the appearance Season of 1983, Our Lady recommended to everybody they should prepare well for Christmas: "Purify your hearts, enter within yourselves, confess your personal sins and change your lives." "Many Christians," says Our Lady, "are only registered within the Parochial Archives, and do not remember they are Christians. Others go the Church without really living their faith. Christians should be for others a living sign, helping these to convert and save themselves. All must convert." Actually, what calls the maximum attention in Medjugorje are the numerous and great conversions. What it's all about of Prayer Our Lady appearing in Medjugorje asks us for further prayer, both personal as well as communal. Through your own prayer we will deepen more in the meaning of PEACE; with prayer locally we can receive help from the gifts and faith of others. Our Lady said: "You all have forgotten that it is through prayer and fasting that wars are dispelled, if they have already started, they will stop. Even natural laws may be suspended (that means, miracles can occur)." "There are many Christians who are weak because they pray little; other people who do not believe, because they do not pray. We have to come back to prayer. The minimum is: one Creed, seven Our Fathers. seven Hail Marys, seven Glory Be on the Fathers: five of these will be recited in honor of the five wounds of Jesus. one for your intentions of the Holy Father the other to pray for the Gift with the Holy Spirit. Speaking about the prayer towards the Holy Spirit, Our Lady said: "People are not aware of how to pray. Many go to Church and the Shrines only to be healed of their physical maladies, or to request particular graces, rather than deepen in their own faith; this really is pure fanaticism. Very few pray for your Gift of the Holy Spirit. It is important is to pray for the Gift with the Holy Spirit; if they have this Gift, they will lack nothing, all other things will probably be theirs." "What is most necessary is prayer. Require the Holy Spirit ahead down on earth, then all can be clear, and the world will alter:' "Pray every day to the Holy Spirit. Whatever you are asking for is material things; which means you have not understood what you have been told." Father Tomislav Vlasic made the comment to some of the pilgrims: "We Christians read a lot of books, but pray little. We have developed a number of theories and possess created laws, complicating us altogether." Our Lady tells us: "If you want to be happy, lead a humble and simple life, and pray. Do not complicate your problems, leave the resolution God. Deepen your prayer. You will discover everything through prayer. fasting and love of neighbor." "Man does not live by his work alone," Our Lady told us in another message, "but by prayer too." Prayer detailed Our Lady in Medjugorje, says Father Tomislav, has insisted on two types of prayer: one that serves all - the Rosary, the seven Our Fathers, seven Hail Marys. seven Glory be towards the Fathers, and the Creed; and the other, she asks the prayer groups for Reflection (meditation). Jelena Vasilj (youth in Medjugorje reported to get inner locutions from Our Lady) told Father Tomislav, "Once Our Lady invited me to pray the Rosary with her. I began the process as I have learned in Church, yet she made me see it was not the correct way: you are praying it only with your lips. You have to collect yourself, sitting down quietly and think of nothing else; come into your own self." "Through the Priests," says Our Lady, "I desire to bring all mankind for the depths of prayer." Our Lady responded: "Jesus stood a great longing for God as well as a great longing for saving souls. Behold His method!" On February 1984 Our Lady told Jelena. "When I tell you all: Pray, pray, pray, don't get that I mean only an increase in your time of prayer. No! A few things i really want is to bring you all with a continued longing for God." Here is prayer in the radical force of the company's strength; a continued longing for God. On Holy Thursday the exact same year, Our Lady told us through Jelena, "Let me reveal to you a spiritual secret: if you need to be stronger through temptations, build a living conscience within yourselves; this means, pray a great deal in the morning and read a passage of the Gospel, engrave the saying of God in your hearts, welcome it actively and live it throughout the day; by the afternoon you will be much more resilient. The Prayer that Our Lady of Medjugorje teaches the visionaries can be a prayer of entrustment and total trust in God. Many times she insists about this matter of utter importance: "Pray, fast and entrust yourselves to God." The entrustment will be the goal, the end itself of prayer. At the same time it is prayer and fasting, the instruments that will help us to entrust ourselves to God. Some people do severe penance but they never entrust themselves to God. It's easier to fast than to entrust ourselves to God. "Place yourselves before Jesus with each of your strength," recommends Our Lady. "Ready to complete all He tells you to perform." And that you may know more concretely God's Will: "You must walk with your priests. Do what your ecclesiastical authorities show you." The apparition shows a deep respect for the authority in the Church. Prayer in Community as well as in the Family I would feel deeply happy, insists Our Lady, "if families would pray half an hour in the morning and half an hour within the afternoon. Their work could be better.' According to among the visionaries, Mirjana Dragicevic Soldo, "In these last days, the devil is now more aggressive than ever, especially against families and marriages. If before there are dissensions and breakups, now things are getting worse. Each one of us is experiencing it: we're no longer able to live next to one another. All have something to state against the other." "Some marriages have ended," Mirjana continues telling us, "and have terminated in divorce." Our Lady declared that in order to stop these phenomena, and get away from its expansion, it is necessary that people pray united: prayer in a family. Much more, Our Lady has concretely told us that the prayer of the family is the symbol of the most powerful remedy there is. Another remedy is always to always have a sacred object exposed in your house, and the home should be blessed with great frequency." Our Lady is asking us Christians to aid Her with our prayers: "You must tell the faithful," she tells the visionaries, "that I need their prayers, Prayer and Sacrifice, for there are such few sinners that have converted. Many of the Christians live as pagans. In truthfulness, there are few believers." The recommendation given us by Our Lady is we restore in our homes the sacred images of Jesus and Mary which has been taken away from many homes; she calls us also to make our consecration to her Immaculate Heart. She herself has given Jelena some types of consecration. Inner locutions and the prayer group Following May 1983, Our Lady told Jelena: "Tell your Priest that we want a Prayer Group, formed from the youth, because they are more free to consecrate themselves to God deeply as well as to my Heart. All those who wish can also participate, although people who work or are focused on marriage will find it more challenging to find time for this." Our Lady wants this group being the inspiration and model of other groups that she hopes will be formed in other Parishes. The prayer group Our Lady requested began gathering in prayer with great enthusiasm at the start of June 1983. She spoke for them on their second time, always through Jelena. "Great, however, although you have gathered yourselves for three long hours of prayer you do not stop taking a look at our watches to see at what time it is over. In this way you will never bring yourselves to the depths of prayer n your spiritual life. Stop looking at your watches, stop thinking on the business allow the Holy Spirit to assist you. Then you shall see how well you will be doing in your responsibilities and you may still have plenty of time. Allow the Holy Spirit that will help you.

Many extraordinary phenomena have been and then be seen in Medjugorje. For example, in August 1981, the Croatian word "MIR" which suggests "peace" was written in the sky at night above the large cross around the hill of Medjugorje. Many people from surrounding villages, including the parish priest, saw it. Apparitions of Our Blessed Mother in Medjugorje, (formerly Yugoslavia) Bosina-Hercegovina On June 24, 1981 inside mountain village of Medjugorje, Our Lady appeared to six children. She called herself the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace. Her message is Peace for that world. She told the youngsters, "I have come to tell the world that God exists. He or she is the fullness of life, and enjoy this fullness and obtain peace, you must return to God. As of this date - July 2010 - Over 30 million people have visited and prayed at the site of the apparitions. The Secrets Our Lady has promised to disclose to each of the children ten secrets. To date, three of the seers have received all ten secrets with no longer are receiving apparitions on a daily basis. The opposite three seers have all received nine secrets. Some of the secrets are for the seers themselves, some to the local church and parish, and a few for the Church as a whole. The ninth and tenth secrets are grave matters. They're a chastisement for the sins of the world. The chastisement could be mitigated by prayers and penance, but can't be suppressed. An evil, which threatened the planet, according to the seventh secret, may be eliminated through prayer and fasting. The Great Sign Only one of the secrets has been partially revealed by the visionaries. Our Lady has promised to leave a visible sign on the mountain where she first appeared so your world would believe. These are Our Lady's words about the sign: "This sign will be given for that atheists. You faithful must not wait for a sign before you convert - convert soon. This time around is a time of grace for you personally. You can never thank God enough for His grace. On this occasion is for deepening your faith and for your conversion. When the sign comes, it will be far too late for many. Hill of the Apparitions Here is the sight of the first apparition from the Blessed Virgin Mary to 6 young people in Medjugorje. Thousands of pilgrims climb the steep, rocky hill to hope at the spot where the permanent sign is going to be left so that the entire world will know the apparitions are authentic.

During the season of Lent, a period to renew our spiritual life and offer up gifts of love to your God, there is no better gift instead of reflect on our souls as to where we presently stand it the light of God's judgment. For surely, with so many prophesized warnings given by saints, seers and prophets through the ages of an exact time when every living being will see their souls exactly as God sees it-that is, all the good and all the bad accumulated in the lifetime up to that point-it will occur. In accordance with many related and recorded near-death experiences, this same grace happens right now of death or near-death; and, for those of us alive at the time when it occurs across the world to every living being, it's going to come without warning and we will experience the exact same grace. This holy grace of revelation as to where we stand in the judgment of God has generally been called "The Warning" or "The Illumination of the soul." Whatever one desires to call it, it only is practical that it is also one of the ten secrets the Blessed Virgin Mary has presented to the visionaries of Medjugorje. It can be further stated that it is conceivably one of the three warnings that will be given at Medjugorje after the apparitions cease to happen, to let the world know that the wedding is from God and that He is real. Other visionaries have since spoken of it and there is general agreement that, due to this happening, millions of sinners will repent and become restored to grace. While using nearly 29 years of daily apparitions at Medjugorje as well as the thousands of messages of with repentance now, the battle lines between good and evil are more clearly drawn than ever before. A great Catholic theologian named Father Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange once wrote that "at as soon as of separation the soul knows itself without medium, on all of its merits and demerits. It sees its state without possibility of error, sees all that it has thought, desired, said, and done, both in good and evil." The entire past, he said, is seen "in an appearance." That is precisely what individuals who have been declared dead then again miraculously revived have reported. As Our Lady has stated so many times in her messages to us through Medjugorje, don't wait for secrets before deciding to change and follow God. Do it. Lent is the time to begin the progres.

Medjugorje is a vital spiritual phenomenon in many elements of the world but interestingly Medjugojre has suddenly put down deep roots in Italy. Medjugorje, some claim, is nearly laying siege to the Vatican. This is a particularly significant marvel in that the Vatican has formed an unique investigative committee to determine the truth behind the alleged Marian apparitions. As the investigation moves its way to some form of conclusion, millions of Italians read Our Lady's special messages that come from Medjugorje each month. As daily passes and as more Italians visit know Medjugorje the stakes for that Vatican, almost by definition, seem to rise with each passing day as well. Italy is not alone with its strong attachment for the alleged Marian occurrences. The great friend of Pope Benedict XVI, Cardinal Christophe Schonborn of Austria - the Archbishop of Vienna - has invited the "seers' of Medjugorje into his Cathedral to undertake a close encounter with the Blessed Mother. It is extraordinary to think that a man, that's talked about as a serious candidate to get the next Pope, is unabashedly telling those who find themselves open minded that indeed the Blessed Mother is here now on earth engaged in an active ministry encouraging the entire world through special messages to seek peace in their hearts and also to put God in the first place within their lives. But here in the usa there seems to be a resistance to this fascinating spiritual, perhaps supernatural, occurrence. I happened to meet a young lady who was working in a company operating out of Delhi. She complained that the stipulations at work were not very good and that she was, as a result, experiencing stress. I asked her if she wanted math for de-stressing and since she seemed interested, i gave her a spiritual formula that was given by the Prophet of Islam. The Prophet said, "Waiting for the better tomorrow is also a form of worship." A few months later i happened in order to meet the same lady again. On this occasion she was happy. During our conversation, she said, "Now, i've got a job in another company which is better in every respect." This is not an isolated instance. I have tried this formula several hundred times during my own life as well as on each occasion, i have found so that it is the best in dealing with such situations. It is based on human psychology. If your mindset turns negative, you diminish your abilities. However, if you work hard with a positive mindset, you boost your abilities. This is a law of nature, which is irreversible. It is an accepted undeniable fact that training enhances the scope for a person, but training is not limited to professional institutions. There is another institution of coaching and that is one's own mind. Positive thinking is really a natural form of intellectual training. This training institution is continuously at the job and progressively makes you get a better personality. This is a miracle of nature and each one of us has it in the control. Everyone can have this experience. This part of the mind is a great gift from nature. When we shun negativity and adopt the way of positive thinking, we initiate a procedure in our mind - a procedure of enhancement of our personality. Positivity really helps to unfold our potential. Due to this process, a positive thinker improves his prospects in daily life. On the contrary, negative thinking is most injurious to the process of personality development. Only positive thinking might be truly helpful in this process. Our society is governed by well-known natural laws. The only method to progress is to discover these laws and follow them. Just about all cases of failure might be explained by people failing to follow laws of nature. After this course is like travelling along a highway that can lead you straight to your destination. As some Medjugorje critics downplay the rule of discerning an alleged apparition with the fruits that it brings forth, on Saturday the foremost Catholic apparitions expert in the 20th century called the criterion "the supreme rule" as he lectured in Italy. Fr. Ren? Laurentin also adviced to become cautious with cases of alleged sun miracles. The criterion of judging an alleged apparition with the fruits that it produces isn't just valid. Only the outer rays were manifested, plus it was quite a spectacle, a great impression", Fr. Ren? Laurentin told the thousands gathered in Desio's indoors stadium. "So, when someone talks about a miracle of the sun at Medjugorje or elsewhere, you must ask: at what time? Just like it is at sunset, it does not count, but if you saw sunlight spin at noon or at 5 am in the summer, it is far more secure." Also, he urged care to be taken using the minor, personal signs: "Many people that go to Medjugorje or other apparition sites sometimes feel the smell of flowers, incense and other liturgical items, and this makes a deep impression upon them, however, if they say this, I reply: you shouldn't talk about it because this is God's grace which is given personally, as a sign that God is very happy to see you, that you come to meet Him. However, in the event you talk about this to your friends, they will say you had a hallucination", Fr. Ren? Laurentin said.

Holy Week has passed and enable me to share with you what I've been reading in the Holy Week. I've written often times here that I only read books on background on our Catholic faith. This past year we wrote about that very interesting, albeit controversial book/magazine from Loreto Publications entitled "The Fourth Secret of Fatima" published by Catholic writer Antonio Socci. If you've been reading about the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Cova de Iria in Fatima from May 13 to Oct. 13, 1917, you will see much about the revelations by our Immaculate Mother to the whole world, which affects most of us, especially here in the Philippines. The Oct. 13, 1917 apparition gave the 3 children, Jacinta, Francesco and Lucia (she became a nun and died only that year 2005) three Secrets of that your 3rd Secret was not able to be revealed until 1960. Within this book by Antonio Socci, he accuses Tarsisio Cardinal Bertone of hiding the complete 3rd Secret who subsequently wrote his own book to discredit Socci. Yet today, the dogma is denied and undermined by an "ecumenism" which declares that neither the Protestant heretics nor the Orthodox schismatics must return to the Catholic Church, for this reason "outdated ecclesiology. Badde was obviously a well-known journalist. A fallen-away Catholic, he overheard a train conversation between two men regarding an area of great peace: Medjugorje. Naturally, in a series of "no such things as accidents," he was called by Mama Mary, who always, always leads us to her son Jesus. I used to be blown away by the research and years he had spent on it. All breathless, I told Mercy and Josie that they were missing the point! That they should instead seek out the convent that housed the Lepanto banner. After i got home, I immediately searched my Kindle to determine if Amazon had the Guadalupe book. What came out was "The Face of God" by Paul Badde. I purchased it, I read it and realized. Jesus would like to show His face towards the Filipino people. Mercy is not an accident. The fact that the Philippine ambassador met Him at the convent and was given firsthand knowledge to take to her people is part of the plan. I immediately called Neil and Jane Villarito of ABBA visit tell them of this place of pilgrimage that no one knew of, and that Jesus had plans for people.
